"Joie de Vivre" Multi Media Original Well Known Canadian Artist Lise Tremblay.
Born in Montreal 1949. A graduate from the Institute of Graphic Arts in Montreal, both a teacher of graphic and plastic art and a fashion designer, Lise Tremblay started drawing at a very early age.
She is a listed Canadian artist with the National Gallery of Canada. Her works are found all over the world: France, Belgium, the United States, Western Canada, Ontario and of course in Quebec.
She has had an interest in batik, silkscreen and watercolors for several years. Research of her inner being and the need to express her spiritual state coupled with a desire to transmit a spiritual dimension pulls her toward abstracts, which she expresses through collage and silkscreen.
Her work is found in numerous private and public collections such as: Bank of Canada, Bell Canada, Christie's, Desjardins, Hotel Vogue, Hydro-Quebec, Montreal Trust, Ogilvy Renault , Foundation Zeberio, Argentina, etc. Some of her work is found at the Sergines Museum and Musée ArtColle (Art collage) in France, the Musée Régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Quebec, etc.
